150 word third person bio (PERSONALITY)

Hello, Bonjour! Tea Fannie doesn’t actually speak french but she is Canadian to the fullest.  Her name may be complicated to spell but she says to take it up with her mother. This Alberta rapper started off her music career in Edmonton and moved around a lot (her father served).  4 provinces, 9 cities but she calls Calgary home!  She grew up listening to Kenny Rogers and Whitney Houston, no typo, and by the time she was old enough to choose her own ear vibes she was into Green Day and Nas. Her music style reflects that in a random way especially because she listens to music for lyrical content over beats which is kind of different in this day and age. Her music is heavily lyrical as well and she wants people to go back and listen to it again like: “did she just say…???”

50 WORD third PERSON BIO (WRITTEN BY SLED ISLAND)

Local rapper Tea Fannie grew up moving often and ingesting an omnivorous musical diet. The result is her own distinctive hip-hop style that draws on trap, 2000s hits and various Caribbean styles. Flow-wise, she can run from hard-edged (“Kings”) to sing-song and playful (“YWICM”) with ease.

450 WORD FIRST PERSON BIO

Hello, Bonjour!  No, I don’t speak French but I am Canadian to the fullest.  My name is Tiffannie a.k.a. Tea Fannie.  I basically grew up in Edmonton, as an army brat, (father served) I moved around a lot, 4 provinces and 9 cities, but I call Calgary home!  I grew up listening to Kenny Rogers and Whitney Houston, no typo, and by the time I was old enough to choose my own ear vibes I was into Green Day and Nas.  I feel my music style reflects that in a random way especially because I listen to music for lyrical content over beats which is kind of different in this day and age.  My music is heavily lyrical I would say and I want people to go back and listen to it again and again like: “did she just say...???”.

I have been fortunate enough to be featured on Virgin Radio, iHeart Radio, Global Calgary, Global Edmonton, Edmonton Journal, Big Kitty Magazine, Downtown Arts Calgary, The YYScene, The Block on CBC, all within a year, with many more to come.  I have had the opportunity to work with a grammy nominated producer (Lord Quest), Polaris short listed producer (Junia T), and some local legends such as K-Riz, Oozeela, Sarafin, Miss Benzo, and many more to come!

I actually used to write poetry growing up, that I would never recite in front of anyone but I did enter and place in a few online contests under an anonymous name during middle school.  I’ve always had a deep love for music, but of course growing up on the likes of Whitney Houston, I figured if I couldn’t sing like her then I couldn’t be a singer, and if I couldn’t sing then I can’t do music duh!  Fast forward to 2019 and I got over my foolish stage fright when Wayz the Artist told me I had to perform at his album release party.  I was so terrified, but when I stole everyone’s attention at The Station on Jasper that day, I learned that, the feeling I got after, would trump any fear I would ever have.  I haven’t looked back since and was able to headline my first gig for a new years party later that year!  I’ve been beyond hungry for my dream since getting a small glimpse of it back then.  I thank you guys for joining me on this journey to show the world who Alberta is, it's time, and every time I look around I can see we're ready.
