Biiiissssh this my fave song on the album. ya ok, i think i prob said that about almost every one of them at this point. I can't help it! It depends which one is playing at the moment, they all my faves don't make me choose. oh, you didn't?  ok true. well we're here now. lolol. ok for real though, this was actually the first song we recorded for this project!! back in September 2020, so it was only fitting the album came out Sept 2024!! oh wow the story for this song is long. lol and so fckn cool. Ok so pause I need to roll one for this, these next two tracks actually show how hungry i am. aiight so I had “moved” to YYZ for a minute but I was just over 2 hours of travel time away from downtown Tkaronto (yyz, toronto, all a dat i switch up just keep up lol) I had absolutley no funds, was not working, cotching up at my aunty spot and i mustered up a few dollars we'll say. cuz im not tryna expose the cray discount i got working with manz like Junia-T, but he believes in me. So I linked Junez and he's like yo let me know how much u got and we'll find a spot to run a sesh same way. fckn grateful. so we end up at Ice's spot!! That was the first time I met Ice Tha One, so hold up lemme paint this picture for a sec. I'm fckn shy, don't let the media and stages fool you, im high key shy when I don't know ppl, high virgo here. ok so anyway now I'm in the first sesh with junez, I'm not tryna fail in any sort of way nah mean??? and i'm in front of a new new person. yes she's cool af, but i didnt know that at the time! lol  Also, pause again, (ya don't watch movies at home with me, i have comments and discussions lmao) I had massive stage fright if you didn't know, thats a whole other story, but mind you, in 2019 I was recording in a studio with the lights off, sunglasses on, hoody up. ya. then 2020 I was recording at home through DIY youtube vids lol. so ya this moment at Ice's house, sesh with Junez, big moment. I remember smoking a lot on the balcony. I sat on the couch and quickly got my first verse together, layed it down and while he was playin with the beat and stuff behind it i just hopped on the balcony to just sit in my anxiety and smoke through it lolol. came back in with a hook in mind already. laid it down.  low key I actually wanted to ask Ice to hop on the hook but I didn't have the courage at the time. I went out for a smoke again, sit in my anxiety and smoke through it lol. Wrote a verse while I was out there, came in, sat on the couch and just sculpted it a bit. laid it down. went out for a smoke, sat in my anxiety, and smoked through it lolol. And I came back in to junez just geeking like famz thats wild how u just casually laid down this fire track. he's there like see i told u ice what i tell u. and i felt so proud in that moment cuz he was braggin about me and i DELIVERED. theres nothing worse then putting a name forward to someone and then they don't step up to the plate. so ya im fckn proud of this song. so how did all the features come about u ask? well….First of all, because I mention Johnny on the saxes in the song, i was like well he HAS to lay down sax now lolol. So thankfully he was down!! Then the della kit and I actually performed the song together for sled island 2023! and we got the idea to actually lay it down!!  Then we were thinking it has a reggae vibe. it be dope to get a female rap with a jamaican twang and i was like. omg thats my homie. Lowkita!!! so it was just kismet that I got 2 bad gyal from BC and I was born in BC!!
